GEARWRENCH has taken the ratcheting wrench design and applied it to the tap and die application. The ratcheting handles and adapters allow for easy back and forth movement required while cutting threads on either taps or dies. The 5° ratcheting arc with reversing lever eliminates hand over hand turning. The hex die adapters work on either round or hex shaped dies.

Consisting of: 82800 large ratcheting "T" wrench, 8280 large Locking tap adapter (Accommodates taps up to 9/16"-3/4" and 14mm-18mm), and 82802 (Fits Up to 1-7/16" Diameter Hex Stock and Hex Dies Sizes 9/16" to 3/4") large hex die adapter and 4 millimeter hex key. Gear wrench ratcheting tap and die tools has auto-locking feature that allows for the quick release of tap adapter. Twist the spring loaded cap for the quick release of large tap adapter.
